Confined Campaigns

Confined campaigns are interdepartmental campaigns for promotion within the Civil Service and they are usually held by the Public Appointments Service.

The details of these campaigns will be circulated through your personnel section also but you must still make your application through publicjobs.ie

In most cases you must have served your probation and if there are any other specific eligibility requirements these will be outlined in the job advert.

Temporary Staff Recruitment

From time to time, temporary full-time staff are required to fill short term vacancies that arise, where possible these staff are recruited through the normal campaign process.
