What are Civil Service Tests?

If you apply for a job in the Civil Service you may be required to undertake an assessment test. These tests help us determine if you are the right person for the job. Different tests are used for various grades in the Civil Service such as Clerical Officer and Executive Officer and familiarisation material will be sent to you or made available on the website prior to your attending a test session.

These tests are provided solely as a guide to the type of questions we use and are not a comprehensive listing of civil service tests. You should be aware that the real tests are subject to time limits.

Level A - Clerical Officer

Level B

This level is a sample of tests used at junior management entry level.
